Bits & Pieces — A Corporate
Quarterly Newsletter An 8-page newsletter for PLAYtime, Inc. that will be sent to retail distributors throughout the United States. Nameplate, Table of Contents, Masthead and Self-mailer were all developed with extensive use of InDesign, style-sheets, tabbed tables, and duotone imagery.
Palatino typeface was selected for its rounded shapes and distinct characteristics that give it a puzzle piece like feel. Its used in the Nameplate, headlines, and pullout quotes as well as the header and footer information. Univers was selected for its range in weights and styles. It’s used in the sub headers, body copy, captions, masthead and table of contents.

The Etruscan Sunrise — Marigold Color
Exhibition Brochure & Keepsake A comprehensive 32-page brochure and keepsake of an exhibit of Marigolds at the Frederik Meijer Gardens. The exhibit name, identity mark and envelope were all developed.
The large, rich, close-up photography coupled with the soft center-aligned typographic arrangement help to keep this brochure a memorable exhibit piece. The exhibit mark is a simplified representation of the petal structure of the marigold flower, and suggests a radiant sun set a top the horizon. This is also reinforced with the return address on the envelopes. The mark is also used throughout the piece as a graphic element.

It's Inside You — Skateboard
Poster Series Targeted toward young adults, 22-27, moving into the workforce, this series appeals to the individual and the self-expressive style of skateboarding. This was achieved through the use of vibrant watercolor, stylized photography, and typography. Each of the posters in the series communicates a specific component of the message. The intent of this message is to provoke the audience into not ignoring their desires for self-expression but to embrace it using this mode of transportation as an outlet.
